Valence electron and chemial state of Be intermetallic compound (beryllide) have been successfully analyzed by using soft X-ray emission spectroscopy. The is a collaborative research with Prof. Kasada (Tohoku Univ.) and Dr. Kim and Dr. Nakamichi (QST).
