On 18th and 19th April 2019, Mukai and Ogino participated PHITS training course at Kinki University.  PHITS (Particle and Heavy Ion Transport code System) is a general purpose Monte Carlo particle transport simulation code developed under collaboration between JAEA, RIST, KEK and several other institutes. 

 

It was held at BLOSSOM CAFÉ room A in the campus.

 

A tutorial where we learnt how to make a snowman geometry and how to melt it by proton beam.

 

At library; Kinki University is famous for research of tuna fish cultivation.

 

We ate OKONOMIYAKI after the training course.
